New update about the video player. We have thinked for a new transparent effect on the panel of the video player. The idea is this: normally the box are little visible and they come full visible when you go over it. For making this effects I have to work many on the flash project and I have to write many line of ActionScript code. I made a test. In this file, only the first 3 video works (you, aau and fof) and when you see the video, only the play, stop, pause and mute button works. If someone can test the player for to see if all works well. I have made test but if more people test the player, the chance to find errors or problems are more.

Nice effect.
But I think that you should not make the whole object transparent then solid.

I think that this effect would be better used if you had the buttons that start the videos
transparent then solid when you hover over them.
Then this would act like a highlight effect, for each button.

I am making something that I want to include.
But it is a supprise for you all.

And im also trying to do a small database in java.
That is my work for uni. and Java is harder to do Interfaces in than Flash :(
You need about 20-30 lines of code for 1 button, it is stupid.

Hopefully I will have my supprise done in about a week,

Thanks for your suggestion. In the next day I'll try to make the player effetcs with your idea so we compare them.

I know a little Java and I remember that it is not so simple, also because I study it pratically for myself. I don't know how it work with flash, but surely is useful for making flash working better and without to have to battle with ActionScript (like I made). However, I'll wait for your surprise.

And don't worry. We have all our life, so we have not full time to dedicate to this project. Also me, now I have to study ASP, so I have not so many time to dedicate to this project. But however, the important is to continue to working on it and try to make it better as possible.

Hey pals!Am...I know we havent post anything in here for a long time already but there is a reason for that...my dear friend Dany has important exams to do (as I had too) and he needed time for them u know...however we didnt stop the work over this project...I know we arent lots of people but we all will finish it soon or later no matter what.
I just decided to come here and tell u that cuz the topic is going away from everybody's attention (which is not good at all) and besides I still hope there might be people ready to help.So if anybody has something to say/offer/give an idea-please go ahead ;)

I can make the autorun application with my Delphi knowledges, and I may have some experiance to build a screensaver. But we have to organize all files, that are gonna be on the DVD.

Hy Guys, it's much time that I don't write on this thread (too much studying ;P ), however now I'm ready to restart to work with my fantastic, dear friend Vikince and with all other guys that help us on this project. No, we did not forget it and we are ready to work on it for finishing it. We have all our engagements and the times often it is not a lot but we have promised ourself to finish it and we made it. So, I ask you, please, believe in us and if you want to help us, also with little things or ideas, write on this thread or send a PM to me or Vikince.

And like we say always in our team, "C'mon soldiers, the battle is hard but we will win" :)

From now, we try to update you about the progress of this project more often.
