I wouldn't have a clue if england lost out on the world cup - im not into football - I dont watch the news on TV (I occaisionally read it online - but not the sports section). None of my friends are into football.

Maybe Mark is the same?

I'm not very much into sports, but I do enjoy big events like this, it sort of gets people together. But Eurovision is better, lol. Anyhow... what group is Sweden in?

They got a very good chance to go on, I would say Sweden is the one that can surprise all, they can even get to the finals cause of their powerful offensive ( Larsson, Ibrahimovic, Ljungberg). I don't cheer Sweden in sports :P, but I do hope they would kick England's ass :P

Lol I'm already too hyped about WC, I don't care so much about soccer league's, I prefer the national cups, they're more interesting. Oh yeah and ITALY FTW!!

I expect that Argentina win the World Cup, but there are also a lot of goods teams like Brazil, Germany, Italy, England or France.

I've never really "got" the whole concept of having to support a single team which seems so prevalent in stick 'n' ball sports. I rarely care who wins any sporting contest, I just want an fair, exciting event that goes right down to the wire. Such sports are a metaphor for war, I suppose.

All that said I'll be supporting ABE. Anyone But England. The TV and press are still going on about 1966 as if it were yesterday, I couldn't put up with another forty years of it.
